Herculaneum Tablet

I was in Sorrento for holidays and whilst I was there I took a trip to

Herculaneum which is a town that was buried in the Mt Vesuvius

eruption of 79AD which also buried the more famous town of Pompeii.

This tablet was hanging on the wall of one of the houses. It is amazing

to me how detailed and beautiful this item is being 2000 years old but

also how remarkably well preserved it is after being buried for all those

years too.
