dougityb 0 Posted July 13, 2009 I have three views of this tree taken within minutes of each other. They all strike me more or less the same. Do you prefer one over theother? Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted July 13, 2009 What I mean by "They all strike me more or less the same" is that their emotional content doesn't seem to be any different. I selected this one (above) as the one worth printing, but the emotive differences between them felt insignificant. Link to comment
mdmoore-c 1 Posted July 13, 2009 Doug, My personal opinion is to agree with your choice. The form in the second of the three (811) seems to break the mood (serenity?) a bit and the fog and shadows of the third seem a little more on point in the third--your choice--than the first. That said, all three are quite lovely! Link to comment
iancoxleigh 0 Posted July 15, 2009 This is definitely my favourite of the three. I like the hint of a background and that is nicer here than in the other two. I also like the form of the tree best here as well with the more easily anthropomorphised "reaching" structure. The green in the branches seem more harmonious here as well. All in all, a lovely and compelling winter's scene. Nicely done. Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted July 24, 2009 Another vote for this one, the bg is very vague, there are no other distractions, and the textures appear better. I love near monotones like this. These trees lend themselves well to the job. Link to comment
tfactory 1 Posted July 31, 2009 I guess for me they are all very nice. I love the background and detail of the trees. My only concern would be that all 3 seem to be too centered. I would suggest croping so that the tree is a little to either the left or right and capture more of the backgound trees. Very nice concept. g Link to comment
