davidclapp 0 Posted July 13, 2009 I only posted it a minute ago I never even got to put the shot info on it, thank you anyway :) This is the Giants Causeway at 11.15pm and 11.16pm. 1DsIII and the 24mm TS-E f11 focused hyperfocally for 30secs (shadows) and 4secs (sky and good mate Alan) Link to comment

PeterKrenek 26 Posted July 13, 2009 Nice shot, David, at first I found myself struggling with the human figure only to finally admit that it was a good idea to give scale to the special rock formations. You may have a version without the figure, and I expect it is equally appealing. Link to comment
davidclapp 0 Posted July 13, 2009 Yeah you know me, I have a shot without the figure too. I like people in my images, its good for adding that extra dimension. Alan and I were laughing looking at the viewfinder because he looks just like a figure you find on an architectural drawing. Link to comment

davidspeight 0 Posted August 12, 2009 David, stunning composition and flawless exposures/blending. I think you should have called this 'Oscars cliff' or something like that, due to your mates resemblance to the little statues handed out at the film/movie awards. That sky is just truly amazing and i hope to see it in print. Best wishes, Dave. Link to comment
