David, very good composition, light and exposure. The rectangular shapes lends aesthetic touch to the image.

David, grim, stark and very effective. I particularly like the minimalist composition with the square shapes top and bottom. I don't like to play with others' images, but I wonder if this would be more effective in b&w, and further whether high or low contrast would be better in b&w.

Ramon.

I am afraid I cannot share others' compliments, as I don't find this picture particularly good. There is nothing very original about the light, as in many churches light is cast on crucifixes (which is not particularly surprising).

Also, either you were standing at a bit of an angle, or you were not keeping your camera straight on -- the whole image seems a bit skewed towards left.

The texture on the wall is nice, though, and I like the bluish tint of the upper-left corner window.

Beautiful and touching photograph, David. I keep saying I need to travel to Mexico to photograph the fine churches and people in your country. The Mexicans I know on this site, you and Alberto Quintal especially, seem such giving people, with a deep understanding of what it means to be a Christian, to be considerate of others, and give so much of yourself. This is the true meaing of Christ's sacrifice.

Stark indeed. Beautiful composition and lighting. I prefer the original color, as I can see the deep elements of the Christmas tree.

Fantastic light effect and the presentation. Lovely composition, specially the shadow effect on the upper part is excellent. All the best. Rgds.
