Dick... Great shot. Loads of personality and, yeah, humor here. This little guy just makes you smile... Mike

Thank you all very much! There is always a story that goes with these images...this was very early this last Saturday morning. I was very excited to get out on the lake in my kayak in search of subjects other than squirrels. This one was standing on my dock at the bottom of the steps just looking up at me. So, I stopped for a second, and it just kept looking at me...like it was saying..."hey, aren't you going to take my picture?" So here it is...a sunrise squirrel portrait!

Have a good day, everyone!

Thank you and hello, El! I've had a very busy Summer, so far, so I've had some time to put up a few shots, but not much time to browse or comment. I'm very pleased to hear from you!

Warm regards,

This is a very attractive portrait, Sharp with details of fur. What a brilliant eye. Tail showing effects of shallow DOf and looks good. Only thing I don't like is the black horizontal line, consider cloning it out. Regards ifti

Thank you very much, Ifti! I didn't really like the black line either and thought about cloning it out, but as you can see, I didn't. It's a gap in the boards of my dock and honestly, I thought that the squirrel would hold your attention well enough to keep it in the background. But, I honestly knew better. I very much appreciate honest comments.

Have a good night!

Exceptional illumination, which gives depth and vitality to the squirrel. Congratulations. All the best. Vicente.
