Thanks, Jack. I regret to say that the new city or county jail is now immediately adjacent to this old church. That might be it in the distance, dressed up on that side to look like something else.

It is a beautifiul entrance and corner,. Nice angle and a nice composition, the only nit is that at the end of the path it is very dark( at least on my monitor) I tried to work on that corner selectively, I hope you don't mind. Let me know what you think.

Yes, yours is an improvement, so please leave it up with the post that it came with. Putting it inline would have been fine, too.

 

I confess that my shots of the little alcove were disappointing, both from "out here" and from inside--and it is such a charming little place. One would think that I could get the light right and come away with something usable.
