I Remember

Hadlow Road railway station has been preserved pretty much as it was

when it was built in 1888, the two gentlemen were reminiscing about old

times when I took this shot. Your comments and suggestions are

Just discovered this one: a true somersault back in time and a priceless scene. Looks like little has changed the last hundred years... Technically brilliant work. Chapeau Alf!

This is probably the nearest thing I've got to a street shot. I think street shots are very under rated, as good street photography is just so much harder than it looks. I am a great admirer of your work, and the fact that you have noticed this one is a great compliment.

This is a great human interest shot Alf. I like our friend positioned to our left, one making a hand gesture, as if describing days gone by, hence, your title. Alone to talk with them selves, probably many conversations they had in a life time.

The Hadlow building is real nice simple, a bit nostalgic.

The ageing you preformed ties together with the title, how well thought out.

Thank you so much for delving through my portfolio to find this one.  You have interpreted the image perfectly correctly, the old gentleman gesturing in the image is sitting at an old railway station that has been preserved just how it was 80 years ago, he was describing the trains that used to run along this line.
