Long time no see :)

It's a long story, but in a nutshell, was bitten 3 times by a nasty Brown Recluse. Was very, very sick off & on for what seemed like a very long time! Took forever to diagnose, then recoup was slow. Luckily no skin grafts required, thank God! At one point I was diagnosed with Dermatoid Lupus. Wrong! So.... now I am feeling about 95%, getting back to normal, FINALLY!

 

I now know what those little suckers look like & I either kill or avoid them like the plaque! Apparently, there is a huge infestation in the first 4-5 blocks around the center of B-town. They failed to warn us until it was too late for me. I guess because they didn't want to effect our tourist crowd. Many, many have been effected &/or bitten! Yikes! So that's the short version :)

Glad you're better! I was wondering what happened since I hadn't seen you on PN for so long. I just figured you got fed up with the site and/or lost interest. Seems that you've had more than your share of health issues the past 2 or 3 years. Anyway, good to hear from you again.
