. . . what do you think? Is the left side an issue?

I have to admit that I like the composition! To my eye, everything seems to be in a good place. The issue for me is the light - I just wonder if the shot would have a bit more punch a bit later in the day. I also wonder if a longer exposure (to smooth the sea) would have helped as well.

Very useful comments. Thank you. This was one of those situations when I was not able to wait for better light. The longer exposure is something that did not occur to me at the time but I will consider next time. Thanks again

Pleasing to my eye, maybe you are a little to harsh with yourself, but I guess we all do that. My only qualm my be slightly less foreground, but thats really nitpicking. I like the photo overall. Take care. Regards, Holger

seems to me that this is one of those photos that would be better viewed larger. it seems to noisy on this scale.

I think it's a great shot. If anything I think a bit less of the foreground sand would be better for my tastes, but overall it's a very well done shot.

Nice shot! A bit less of the foreground would be better IMO.
