192 0 Posted July 11, 2009 Nice street shot...Well seen and captured. I think this word"chai",is originated from india..In my country,we pronounce the same and we use it in the kettle..This kind of chai is very interesting for me,bacause I never see the same!...When I travelled to china,I heard green tea that is very good for nerve and relaxation...In all of the world, peoples have some habits, and this is one of it...Thnx for sharing and viewing...Regards(Bobby). aarkp 2 Posted July 11, 2009 the word "chai" is actually of Chinese origin (mandarin, i believe)... the word "tea" is also of Chinese origin... this method of preparation is Indian... many a time spices are also added... interestingly, in Hebrew "chai" means Life... Link to comment

aarkp 2 Posted April 7, 2010 thank you! while sipping my tea at this roadside stall in Mumbai I was fascinated by the photographic possibilities of this commonplace scene... Link to comment
divo 0 Posted August 14, 2010 Hard to explain why I like this one, but I think it comes down to Tone. I like that splash of colour combined with the brushed metal and the gritty bits of tea. Great capture. Link to comment
aarkp 2 Posted August 15, 2010 thank your for your visit and commenting on my stuff... this was under blazing sun and the richness of the light, the extensive tonal range on offer, enticed me to try and capture some of its attraction... Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted November 29, 2012 Most attractive the way it is virtually monochromatic with the exception of the orange material. Sometimes that effect comes off as a cliche, but here it is more art than artifice. Link to comment
