Beautiful scene, Jim. A delight of vertical composition, colors, light and cloudy atmosphere. High quality work and presentation. Congrats!

There is so much to love about this photo...Jim, at least for me.....the last of the sun highlighting the clock tower....and its beautiful colors....my eyes were drawn to this image when I first saw it..then I saw that it was yours.....the menacing sky in the background....the comp has a 'feel' of a storm approaching...the beautiful trees beneath the tower appear to be ones with foilage that 'hangs'....yet there is no movement...the air must have felt very 'intense'.....so strangely still........ I alwasy get a very 'errie' feeling when the sky gets this intense......beautiful in it's entirety....congrats..Gail

Thanks all for the kind ratings and comments. The support is always appreciated.

Gail: This was a night I was actually taking a photography class from the local college in Spokane River Front Park (Site of Expo 74, the worlds fair) It started off beautiful. Towards 8 when the sun was setting and the light was getting really good, a huge summer front blew in from the east. This was captured when I was working my way back to the car before the typhon hit. It was a great storm and I love summer storms!-Best wishes-Jim

Very well done, Jim! I like your composition including sharpness, tonality and the warm light against the dramati sky. Compliments, El ( I have to return for appropriate rating)

Congratulations, Jim. An image beautifully done. Good control of perspective, lighting makes the image more dramatic and the storm mood just appropriate. Best regards!
