ldavidson 4 Posted July 9, 2009 This is a wonderful shot. The dogs look like wannabe sled dogs. The man's expression is so sad, he must be trying very hard to keep his pack together. A tragic reality for so many. All the best. Link to comment
steve b 0 Posted July 10, 2009 It's hard to believe that this scene even exists. Truth is stranger than fiction I guess. A rare moment that you were able to catch. Excellent job with the focusing - keeping the mans face and dogs faces in focus. Link to comment
krpradu 125 Posted July 10, 2009 Bob,you caught a so realist image but dramatic same time in 2009,well done in bw,regards Radu. Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted July 10, 2009 the subject is strong and the direct compo suits it well, I like the BW tone...the DoF looks artificial and I think it's bit annoying since it disctract from the main subject which is strong enough to stand againts the background even with a much larger DoF...from the subject point of view it IS a superb documentary and social photograph and as such I would personaly prefer a more realistic look...but it's only my sincere opinion...
