Dusk on Grand Avenue

Very good.

Invokes some dizziness, which is rarely experienced when looking at photographs. Regardless of whether you have taken this one with a lensbaby, or modified digitally, the concept behind the final image is very interesting. Adding more bends and unsharpness to the existing bends of the buildings, skewing the vehicles and leaving very little sharpness to "anchor" eyes on was very brave, and successful.

The general feeling is that of intoxication, and expectation of something, or that of dreamy evening with pleasant night ahead, or that of quietness (even despite running vehicles in the point of view). There can be many interpretations, and that's what I like such photographs for. I must say I like this kind of pictures most out of your gallery, if my opinion matters at all.

You put into words greatly the feelings you get while viewing this photo! I am glad your experiences and feelings are similar to mine. I am encouraged to know some people appreciate my attempts.

I am in the beginning stage of learning and making this type of images. I made this with my first Lensbaby lens which I acquired recently. I intend to experiment with more lenses of this type as soon as I can get them.
