A series. Photographed at the south of the city. A different surrounding.

a poignant portrait with its well-considered and well-executed composition -- the plastic bag hanging on the chair suggests stress and tension and i hazard just the right amount of it is included in the frame... the blurred glint of the metallic seeming object well-parallels the slant of her face... the grey-blue-green backdrop well reinforces the mood... wonderful zoning of the different elements with an overall balance and harmony

Really tender capture, Pnina. I like her pose and expression. The bg and colors are great. Excellent shot! Regards

very good portrait taken from an interesting pov, the emotions on the woman's face, her gesture and the pose of her body seem to tell a story about someone whose life has been a constant struggle. At first I thought the plastic bag was a little distraction here but after looking at the scene for some time I discovered, with the help from Rajat's comment, that its presence within the frame isn't accidental at all, it adds some information to the context and though nothing really explains it makes the portrait even more open to interpretation. Best regards -wm

Thanks again to all of you, I have some frames of her,but this one I think is the one that represents her, even though I saw her in the street.

I like its simplicity...sometimes the best to respect the people is to make it as simple as possible, just like hey are....
