to me the shadow is distracting but it also ads a bit of more drama in to the photo. but the model poses with so much beautiful greatness and the moment is stopped at the perfect time, that all those things deserve all the attention. so if there is a way you could eliminate the shadow, you should, i think. its one of those photos i would have it on the wall ( without the shadow ofcourse).almost perfect.

very interesting image! excellent editing!

what I would do is to bring the shadow in the picture too!

Thanks for all the critiques/comments, its much appreciated :)

@Bob: glad you like it :)

@Romeo: for me the shadow is an essential part of the photo, it ads to the movement, the drama and the pureness of the image, there's something I regret though and that is that I didn't capture the whole shadow (but sadly I didn't shoot any landscape in this setting)

@Adi: I have to agree with you, capturing the whole shadow would have been stronger in my opinion but I failed in shooting a landscape in this setting

I'm not sure about that. Would you have included the whole shadow it might have distracted from your model and her beautiful posture. As it is, exactly that is emphasized by the mere hint of her shadow. The paradox in her stance between tension and relaxation, at least that's how I perceive it, is very appealing as is the graininess. Great job.

Goed werk ;-)

great motion shot. however, i think it would have been stronger compositionally if the shadow were fully included or completely removed.
