Blue on corn lily in Yosemite high country

While up near Mono Pass the clouds began to build and the

temperature dropped creating an excellent opportunity. I used a

300mm lens with 80mm of extention mounted on a sturdy

ballhead.

Really like this shot. Bright sunlight may have drowned the gentle nature this presents. Composition is really eyecatching, simple, subtle and exquisite.

the beauty in this photo is the contrast between the backround dark green and the colors of the butterfly which is a little bit, purple . The focus is good and generally is an excellent photo.
