whydangle 0 Posted July 6, 2009 There are so many possible titles to attach to this image. This was taken last year while meeting with my photog friends Chris Harris, Leo Burkey and Ray Banfield at Tuolumne Meadows. We went to Olmstead Point for the sunset, but before then, I ventured out to climb one of the nearby granite domes to see what view I might find. Well, lookey here, Tenaya Lake nestled in a granite wonderland. Self portraits like this really can take me back. I can't wait for a return trip. This is where I find peace. We all need peace. Do you know where your peace waits? Link to comment

frogpondstudio 0 Posted July 9, 2009 Hi Mark, what a beautiful spot.I find peace out in the woods and fields or by a babbling brook. I am so glad that we are able to enjoy nature. cher.. Link to comment
floris2 0 Posted July 9, 2009 Yep, that's peace alright! My peaceful place varies, depending on the time of year, or the mood. But it's probably a tie between the high sierra in the summer, or the desert in the winter. I just wish I had enough time to get out on a 7-10 day trip. The mini weekend dashes hardly have the right effect. Link to comment
