deb1 0 Posted July 5, 2009 Just a candid moment captured as she was listening to a friend. Please share any thoughts or suggestions. deb Link to comment
axel-cordes 0 Posted July 5, 2009 I like that one - it is very strong and yes the candid moment is fine taken here - also that un prepared hair work for it - strong light, strong view and a strong image. Congratulations! Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted July 5, 2009 Very tight portraits like this are very difficult. This is a well done example. The placement of her face so the light sculpts her cheekbone is almost perfect. Her blonde highlights and the earing balance nicely. The choice of depth-of-field has her face in focus and her shoulder not, this works also. The flyaway hair makes this less formal which is good as is the choice of B&W. Link to comment
deb1 0 Posted July 6, 2009 Thanks so much for taking the time to view and comment on this image. It is my favorite of the series. When I saw her listening to a friend and the wind blowing her hair... I knew I just had to be patient and a magical moment would unfold. She didn't even know I had her in my sights! deb Link to comment
