Wonderful.....go out with a BLAST of color, light and NOISE!!!!!! Sometimes I think fireworks are a great waste of money when there are so many 'homeless and hungry' even in North America....but with the economy woes....etc. Perhaps this was a 'visual treat' for them all.....(don't get me wrong...sometimes I just feel guilty enjoying them).

 

Rob Thomas has some lyrics from one of my favortie songs (also lead singer for Matchbox 20)....listening and half watching his DVD concert from Red Rock Canyon...awesome!!! LYRICS...."one step we got off track...we need someone to help us get back - I'm not real anymore - I am an illusion...."

 

perhaps it's time for every level of the economy to be able to feel 'real' and those who feel 'invisible' be able to join in , and appreciate what we do have left....join together and 'celebrate'........colors make us feel alive....and this visual explosion of color would certainly be a 'wonder' in the night sky, on this, the 2009.......4th of July. Very nice shot! I love the range of colors and the swath of reflection in the water! Sharp as a tack, too. I played a series of July 4th concerts at our summer outdoor theater. They had a wonderful fireworks display at the end of the concerts. Thing is, I'm under the orchestra shell and can't see a blasted thing. One of these days I want to try my hand at shooting fireworks too.
