Beautiful shot Jim....I've only tried once to get a 'fireworks shot'.....must try some more....fabulous color and detail....so vibrant.... yet below, the surface of the water has such a soft and pleasing reflection of the night sky......I'm glad you had a good 4th of July......we must 'cherish' each one....you've done the day up all with wonderful 'ribbons of color'............congrats...always, Gail(system isn't going to allow me to give 7's.....('naughty girl!!)...but with the calibre of your photography my 6's are 7's...unless I actually get to post a 7!)

the little firework on the right, , the ground we see, the trace from where the fireworks starts, all this make this photo very different. is a street, at last... with no people but a strong human presence.really, never see something like this
