jtipton 0 Posted July 5, 2009 Great shot Gail. Do remember to be careful, these things will bite :)). Take care-Jim Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted July 5, 2009 Thank you Jim for your warning...I never realized they'd bite humans.....I've seen their 'pinchers'....look very sharp...but don't think I'd like any 'imprint on me'....and to think....they were often 'my toys' as a child......tnks for dropping in and for your kind words and 'warning'........(if something happens that I get bit and I don't survive....I'll leave my collection to you.......scatter them over the Palouse...at least they'll do some good there.....gottaa keep that precious spot one of 'nature's delights'...............tnks Gail!) jill_rocker 0 Posted July 6, 2009 I think I´m falling in love with your lady bug shots they are all so sweet and beautiful... This one has amazing color tones .... The whole composition is working so well here.... Splendid work my friend.... Take Care, Jill Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted July 6, 2009 another big Thankyou Jill.........I actually tried this in black and white...but the colors are so vivid in these little bugs, and it seems a shame to 'take away' the most beautiful attribute they have.....tnks again......Gail... Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted July 8, 2009 These little creatures are so sweet. I read Jim's comment saying that they bite! Is this true? Well, even if they do they are still great subjects. All the best. Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted July 8, 2009 Apparently so....when I mentioned it to my husband, he said he heard it on the news a couple of years ago...and that when they bite they leave this 'awful smell' behind. I suppose they're kind of like a 'wolf in 'sheeps' clothing......tnks for your kind words of critique.....sincerely, Gail Link to comment
