I don't plan to post these normally but I thought I would experiment with

a scrap book like page that brings together the photograph with a little

of the story behind the scene and the process of capturing and

processing the image and I would love to know what you think.

Cheers

Mike

I really appreciate the idea , and the total composition is aesthetically pleasing. The sketch below adds to its beauty. But, the image of the castle itself, IMHO was only of moderate quality by itself. Knowing your talent, I was just wondering if you could experiment with yet another image potentially more attractive. Compliments for a successful composition.

Good day Mike- I really like this presentation and picture. Not only for the historic aspect but also the information about the process you used to produce the image. Just out of curiousity, what software are you using to process your HDR's? I've used Photomatic Pro 3.0 but recently stumbled across a program called Dynamic Photo HDR that looks intriguing. Best wishes and all my best. Jim

Thank you all for your encouraging comments on my 'scrap-book' experiment. This was the 1st of what has in fact turned out to be quite a growing series. Your kind words have contributed to my plans to keep going with the concept.

Thanks again,

Mike

Hi Jim, I was sure I sent you an email letting you know about the software I use but senility must have set in because I can’t find it now! Anyway, I have often thought of buying a plug-in for Photoshop but to date I am still using the stock-standard version of Photoshop to process these HDR like image.

All the best,

Mike
