Fantastic pose and moment after the capture Monte! Is the face area a little hot?

Really good pose, nice light, an excellent image.

yes a small portion of the forhead looks hot, but it's ok because this image is overall great. Great detail, focus, sharpness and eye contact. I like how the owl holds the mouse.

A fine capture. If you want to work on just the hot spots (using the good ol selection tool ) you can then dialing back the contrast and brightness just a tad and probably bring it back. That blue is intense but who gives a hoot....

I suspect its been cropped a bit but composition is great anyway the mouse makes this, poor thing !
