gminish 0 Posted July 14, 2009 I was at the tail end of a thunderstorm by the tide flats, shooting photos of the storm clouds and sunsets when I happened to look directly overhead. The multiple layers of swirling clouds were at the edge of the storm and the light from the orange sunset was bouncing off the water and lighting up the bottom of the lower clouds. Its not very often that a "skyscape" can stand on it's own without the support of a "landscape" below but I thought this one could had enough going on to hold the interest all by itself. It works for me....what do you think? Sony DSC-R1, ISO-160, f5.6, 1/60, handheld Link to comment
jgalyon 0 Posted July 14, 2009 it held my attention...but the lower half did so, more than the bottom. just a suggestion on cropping attached. best regards, john p.s.- i upped the contrast and saturation a bit, and sharpened...perhaps a bit too much ;) Link to comment
kobrown 0 Posted July 14, 2009 Gary, I agree with your assessment, definitely able to stand alone. Enchanting. Kathy Link to comment
amirali 1 Posted July 17, 2009 Nice crop John, I think with more work on the color and contrast, (a little bit more) it would be even better. cheers Link to comment
