My daily storm

It happens that everytime I go to the Alps I get soaked to bone with

rain, and yesterday was not exeption. As a bonus, yesterday I also had

my good share of strong wind gusts, temp at 4°C, hail and some nice

lighting too. Surely an electrifying experience... ;-)

This is the Pian del Nivolet, an high altitude plateau (2600 meters)

in the heart of the Gran Paradiso national park in Piedmont, Italy.

Excellent image Paolo! Lovely foreground, and excellent electrical action in the background. I feel your pain regarding the weather in the Alps. I've only managed to get there twice, and got rained out big time both times. Haven't even scene the peaks yet. Good work.
