It happens that everytime I go to the Alps I get soaked to bone with

rain, and yesterday was not exeption. As a bonus, yesterday I also had

my good share of strong wind gusts, temp at 4°C, hail and some nice

lighting too. Surely an electrifying experience... ;-)

This is the Pian del Nivolet, an high altitude plateau (2600 meters)

in the heart of the Gran Paradiso national park in Piedmont, Italy.

 

Your C&C are as always highly appreciated, thanks in advance for your

time. Please have a look at the larger size, you'll b rewarded with

much better details.

Paolo... Well worth the soaking; a dramatic capture. With all the lightning, I do hope your tripod is carbon fiber and not metal :-).... Mike
