trisha jean-angela 5 Posted July 1, 2009 The moon was so beautiful last night: it's funny that I didn't even notice it until I laid back on the grass and looked up. I decided to take a photo because I find the moon to be so romantic. I am pretty happy I was able to even capture this with my camera (Canon Power Shot S3IS)! I used the zoom feature and voila; here is my attempt. I am curious what you think and appreciate any comments...Thank you! Link to comment
Funtak 0 Posted July 2, 2009 Excellent work; do you want to change your Power Shot for my 40D? :-)) Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 5 Posted July 2, 2009 Vladimir, What is a 40D (I am assuming it is not your bra size...sorry, that is what it sounds like to me,lol)? I am not a technical person, I guess that's why I don't bother to read instructions and have not invested in a complicated camera. Thanks for commenting...I am glad SOMEONE did! :) Link to comment
tidris 0 Posted July 2, 2009 Thanks for taking the time to comment on one of my pictures. It was taken, I would like to think, with a lot of patience and timing - Naah, scrub that out. Sheer luck that nobody ventured through any of those doors at the time I took the picture. As for this moon, funny that I was probably looking at it the same time as you and I will be posting a picture shortly. This is good, particularly given that it wasn't a single lens reflex camera but then your camera must be pretty good to capture this shot anyway so who needs a Nikon D40? Taha Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 5 Posted July 3, 2009 Taha, Thank you for your comments; they are very much appreciated. I think it was sheer luck with me also to be able to capture this photo with my little camera...one day I will invest in a better one with a macro lens and a zoom lens, but not now. Anyway, thank you for your compliments and for taking the time to leave one. :) Link to comment
szgd 0 Posted August 2, 2009 Ooo, It's a good capture of the moon. The exposure and contrast is very good but I think it would be better and more dynamic if the moon was not in center of the photo and was a little toward right side of the photo, although this is your photo and your vision and is so appreciated for me. I wish you success in your next creations dear friend. Warm regards to you. Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 5 Posted August 7, 2009 Saleh, Thank you for your kind comment. In the future I will try to think of positioning the moon off-center and see how it works. I was just so excited to even capture this one I didn't even think of position, truthfully. Thank you again for stopping by and taking the time to leave a comment; it is most appreciated. :) Link to comment
