Wayne Sadler 562 Posted July 1, 2009 Two stages of the same thing are fun to contrast - here I felt the background colors worked in my favor. I would appreciate a critique. Link to comment
jerrymat 3 Posted July 2, 2009 The composition is certainly pretty. In the days of film, I would have suggested you printed the negative so darkly that much of the color that you had captured in the negative had vanished on your print. We would say you printed it too darkly. A very similar explanation goes for the digital image. I understand it is just opinion, but I would make some of those colors hiding in darkness come out. Guest Guest Posted July 2, 2009 Back to back reviews I am not sure which I like the most I think both are great so thanks again for sharing MJ 7/7 Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 562 Posted July 2, 2009 Very appreciative of your comments and observations. Jerry, I lean towards the subdued - however at times understand and appreciate the bold and dynamic. I note you have the skill at presenting both in a demure and dynamic fashion (great body of work). MJ, I see more the dynamism in your work - extraordinary stuff. I really appreciate the education. pfranklin 0 Posted July 3, 2009 I like this in both presentations but feel more drawn to the first image. The lines and movement, colors and DoF are wonderful. Best regards, Pamela Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 562 Posted November 25, 2009 Patsy, Roger, MJ and Pamela, I apologize for my slowness in acknowledging your kind comments & observations. I will try to be more punctual in checking for feedback particularly from a talented group like you. Thanks for the encouragement. Link to comment
