Well I do have to say I"m somewhat humbled.....for your Portfolio (which I just checked out quickley) has some awesome insect and butterfly shots.....and that is only the beginning. I'm thankful you critiqued.....for now I can learn a bit from observing your images.....I'm pretty sure I've seen some of yours before and perhaps critiqued a few...but not too recently.......My good fortune you 'visited' my ladybug today.....

Truly wonderful! I too think this is one of the best ladybug photos I have seen,

But... I feel that it could benefit from a little more separation from the background by brightening selectively with a slight saturation increase as well.

I gave it a quick `makeover' for you to consider...

You do not want her to fly away. She is a fierce carnivore who will eat many times her weight in aphids. Tell her to stick around.
