whydangle 0 Posted June 25, 2009 The larger view is awesome. My only contrary thought is that this vantage or viewpoint has been photographed a zillion times in much the same manner. The boat is the only thing that separates this from so many others. You have succeeded in capturing a very common location, you have done well, but it is still like so many others. Just my impression Tanni! Link to comment
mpitak 0 Posted June 26, 2009 Tanni, Great shot. Looks like quite early morning there (as far as I remember) - nice vibrant colors and deep shadows. Larger view is awesome!! How wide angle lens have you used ? This one of my favorite spots in Southwest which is highly recomended if one is around Antelope Canyon. Regards. Link to comment
johne37179 29 Posted September 24, 2009 Tanni: The thing that strikes me about so many of your photographs is that they are -- first, your photographs. There is enough of you in the images that I think I could recognize your images from amongst a 100 taken by others at the same location (I have been to most if not all that you have in your portfolio). The second is that you bring a fresh approach to all of the much photographed places -- what a wonderful thing to do. You are to be commended for your creative vision. I am particularly struck by this picture of the goosenecks. I have been there a number of times shivering in the cold, pre-dawn darkness awaiting enough light to capture an image from the very same spot. Yet I never envisioned the image you have captured in much fuller light of day. I am grateful for your singular ability to stand out among this crown on Photonet.l Bravo! Link to comment
