Example of "orange bleed"

gannet___

This is a single frame from one of the proof sheets. You can see orange stripes opposite the sprocket holes. This is *not* on the original neg. It is an artifact of the scanning method. It's caused by light hitting the film edges and reflecting through the film base. You will see this on neg film near the sprocket holes, and also at the ends of strips. This illustrates why you need masks or film holders for good results on final scans.
