That's pretty fun. BTW, any art worth looking at is a creative exercise, so don't belittle playing around and experimenting.

nicely done! definitely more interesting than the one that's disappeared...

i like the placements: door-umbrella-mother-pram-something angled from pram to window-window... light flowing in from window taking this path in reverse (i guess i've reversed the storyline)... what i'm not too sure of is the last globe of light on this path above the mother's stomach, not really needed imo... the ethereal child's two lobs seem correctly aimed at her tummy and that's where the light should get absorbed...

i enjoyed the brood, thanks

For just a "creative exercise", I suspect that the work has been worthwhile. This is highly original work. From the image of the child to the woman with the umbrella, the toys scattered on the floor, and the bursts of bright light, there is plenty here to delight both the sight and the mind.

My compliments,

michael

(And I'm grateful for your comments on my photograph of Angela.)

This photo is the result of a photographer requesting that I photograph her in an artistic way for her maternity session.

We decided to do an allegory of modern pregnancy and therefore, everything in the image is symbolic...

The cage is a condition she cannot escape from

The parasol with many holes, is health care that does not completely cover the delivery of her child.

There were old children's shoes on the floor... connecting the past children (who once lived in this home) to the one that will arrive in the future.

The pram is old and symbolic of the past... the spirit of children, welcome the child which is to come.

Barefoot and pregnant, she faces the future by looking/facing camera right...

This is the back story... the image currently hangs in the child's nursery...
