lliebl 5 Posted June 20, 2009 Alluring, exotic, and sensual. It would be wonderful covering an entire wall. Well done! Regards, ~~~~~~~~Linda Link to comment
jgalyon 0 Posted June 21, 2009 Linda, thank you for writing, I'm pleased you found appeal in my picture. As for your idea of it covering a wall...i'm giving serious consideration to the prospect. Might not be a bad touch for our bedroom wall....! warm regards, jg Link to comment

jgalyon 0 Posted June 23, 2009 thanks to all !!! funny...but i was about to go out for a shoot, had put my camera and all my gear in the car, and was about to leave as i glanced back and saw that this little beauty had opened. i couldn't resist snapping a few quick shots before i got on my way, and happened to get one that i felt had some potential. if i had shot it fifty times and from as many angles...probably wouldn't have turned out as well. so much for careful thought and planning.... ;) the wife approves of me blowing this up and having it printed on canvas. IF ANY OF YOU...need the services of one of the best print labs and fine art reproduction people in the country...e-mail me and I'll be glad to send you the info. the wonderful thing is...their knowledge and craftsmanship can't be beat...and their pricing is substantially less than any of the reputable firms in the country. to give you an idea...i can have this printed 50" wide, on canvas, gallery wrapped on a 2"stretcher for a little over $300 US. (and i don't get kickbacks...i just love these guys and their work!) thanks again....jg Link to comment

jgalyon 0 Posted July 2, 2009 Jill...thank you so much! I was about to say that it appears I'm not the only one up early this morning, but then I realized that you're speaking to me from Sweden. By the way...what time is it there? :) You're having stopped by reminds me to visit your portfolio today. Looking forward to seeing your latest work... warm regards, John Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted July 16, 2009 This is one of the most spectacular flowers I've seen on PN.....and I've seen many great ones! It's soft and sensual, but the colors and way you've positioned the flower in repose make this quite extraordinary. Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted July 17, 2009 John... I missed this when first posted, but I have to agree with all the accolades already listed above. The soft details are magnetic to the eye... Mike Link to comment
jgalyon 0 Posted July 18, 2009 Christal and Michael....thanks to both of you! I have to say it's one of my personal favorites...of my own that is. But ya know what? I'm at one of those stages where I'm tired of looking at just about every picture I've taken. Guess that's what drives us forward...huh? best regards, jg Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted July 19, 2009 If you're feeling that way about your own work, that just means you'll have to take a lot more new pictures for all of us to enjoy! I think you're a terrific photographer! Link to comment
