this is a very nice capture my friend and I like it very much. I prefer this one to the color version: its impact is more direct and the colors, far from adding something from a meaning viewpoint, distract the observer. Let me point out too, last and least, that a better focus will improve the result.

David -- thank you. She isn't the mother, though. A friend's daughter who was part of our large group . She is in her early twenties. Had made friends with the Tibetan child even though, like me, she didn't know the language.
