dara 0 Posted June 20, 2009 Vladimir, I like all those patterns and geometry of the exploding fire works in the sky they are very well captured and in harmony. However, what I like even better is that you show a point of reference rarely seen in fire works pictures and that is the ground from which they are all fired into the sky. There is detail there on the ground that one can see all these people watching the fire works standing, sitting, etc. It contributes greatly to the story of this photograph.....unique work and a excellent image. regards Link to comment

jayanti 0 Posted June 21, 2009 The ground image and the smoke is the turning point of this photo. IMHO, if you loaded a smaller size on PN, it would have been easier to view. One has to scroll down quite a bit to appreciate the image. 6/7 and Compliments. Link to comment
life-in-perspective 0 Posted June 21, 2009 The ground details really adding to the beauty on the sky. Great shot. Best regards. Link to comment

Izvanredna ostrina i ekspozicija. Svaka cast, Vladimire! 6/6 Link to comment
jtipton 0 Posted June 28, 2009 Hi Vladimir- You asked me how I shot the lightening. I was lucky enought to have a great vantage point. I used a tripod and cable release. The settings were 21mm f/5.6 @30s. I pointed the camera to the area of the sky that was most active and just kept shooting 30s exposures. It was an amazing show. Needless to say I was overjoyed to have gotten a few good captures out of it ( there were many bad ones). Thanks for the support and best wishes-JIm Link to comment
