Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 18, 2009 An exceptional trio of pictures, all of them excellent but this one is my favorite. The colors remind me of something out of an MGM musical, circa 1946. I always liked the richness of their saturated palette and I have the same feeling about this photo. The dancer even looks a little like Hedy Lamarr in Samson and Delilah, Her pose is languidly dramatic and fits the theme perfectly Link to comment
bevip 0 Posted June 19, 2009 It is a very well executed with strong pictorial features. I appreciate the tone with which you worked, they are warm and enveloping as the person you've photographed. Link to comment
drewmurphy 0 Posted June 19, 2009 Yes...Pnina, I hear you and am touched in the way you have peeled back the layers in these images...especially this one. Very intimate, yet potent and powerful in their emotional message. "Our secrets collected in private hiding , places of fear, uncertainty and borders, thoughts and memories, all of them are creating a personal collage" Here's wishing all of you a big success in your opening. pnital 36 Posted June 20, 2009 Jack, thank for your nice evaluation and analogy. Shani ,the wonderful dancer will be glad probably to read the interesting analogy Tony, Michael and Paulo, thanks as well for all your feedback. Drew, thanks for your wishes to all of us, but the heavy load is on the choreographer and dancers, rehearsals are very intensive as the date is closer... I will let them know about your nice wishes,( even though some are reading it themselves), and thanks a lot. Donna and David, thanks for all comments and feedback. Link to comment

amalsircar 2 Posted June 21, 2009 Pnina, the composition, colours and light create an illusion of Beauty trapped under the net. She is trying to emerge from this state calmly and not letting circumstances overpower her.Shani is shinning under the net. Link to comment

wogears 186 Posted June 22, 2009 Beautiful interpretation, exposure and color. You caught the gesture exactly right and cropped the image perfectly. The fact that the dancer is gorgeous doesn't hurt either. :) Link to comment

jim_hoffman 0 Posted June 23, 2009 I like this one a lot.Especially because of the colour, the transparancy and the dramatic pose of the model. Thanks and cheers, Jim Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted June 24, 2009 The veil adds considerably, amplifying her soft struggle. The turquoise against the warm peach of her skin is a nice complement. Link to comment
