This was my first shoot from this location. I didn't know this place

existed except for a photo workshop that was going on here when I

drove past. It's a great little spot.

Even with the horizon line in the center this is a stunning landscape. The different textures of the 2 halves keep your interest within the shot. This image is a very good example why the golden rules of composition don't always work. Well done.

Thanks for the nice comments. And Charlie you're right about the centered composition. I shot others with the horizon higher and lower - and this one won!

Very Nice Shot ! How you like your 5DII ? I have not shot a roll of film since 2004. I'm shooting the D700 and D300 now. I tryed to comment on your wbsite , but it kept giving me an error message .
