Guest Guest Posted June 15, 2009 You've caught the quality of the light in this oppressive space, and that's the main point--that's what's there. It's bright and dark, confinement and liberty. The bright speck near the middle of the picture should be cloned out. You have movement from the extreme wide angle and the perspective that converges top-to-bottom in the foreground and approaches vertical only in the distance. It's most pronounced in the far left window, which seems to be "escaping" from the frame. Compositionally, it's a brightest highlight very close to the corner, which is generally a no-no, but here it seems to be part of your response to the jailhouse. Be aware that the viewer responds very differently to objective reporting of the site as it is and the technical devices you use to render it emotively. Link to comment
