alfbailey 2 Posted June 13, 2009 I tried following these little helicopter like creatures with my camera, stumbling over ditches and into puddles, and finally give up and sat down, to my amazement 3 of them landed at my feet and continued to hover around me all afternoon, Any Comments are appreciated Link to comment

alfbailey 2 Posted September 15, 2011 I didn't have a dedicated macro lens, so just used my general purpose 18 - 55mm, it didn't turn out to bad I suppose, and they are fascinating little creatures. What the excercise taught me was the amount of partience and dedication to thier craft that serious macro photographers must apply to their images. Thank you for your interest and invaluable fedback Trisha.Best RegardsAlf Link to comment
alfbailey 2 Posted April 12, 2012 Humble apologies for missing your first comment!Do you ever look at your older photo's and think " I wish I knew then what I know now" ........well I'm sure we all do, but thats what springs to mind when I look at this, just a bit sharper, a touch more clarity......its all part of the learning curve : - ) But I'm pleased you like this, it represents the miniscule amount of time I've spent photographing insects. There are so many genres I'd like to dig deper into..........but time is my enemyCheers Tony!Alf Link to comment
