Sean,

She is a cutie. The color of her eyes is absolutely beautiful. She has wonderful features.

This really is much better than your first one. Now that you have moved in closer I do see some things you should take care of. I can now see catch lights in her eyes, but there are little dots on the left sides of both irises that should be removed. There is also a reflection on her front tooth that should go.

Her make-up is very good. I think her skin tones work well. The composition is much better, but now you could use a little more room on her right and maybe a bit more head room to balance the image better.

Her leis are better with mostly the dark showing, but the bright pink on the bottom and in the corner still draw my attention. The bright aqua colored background just doesn't work.

The little devil is cute, but doesn't belong in the picture. Anyone who would steal this photograph would get rid of the whole background, including your devil.

The shadow on the side of her nose and on the background doesn't help this shot much, but she still is cute.

Keep working with her.

Mark

i also think that the processing is a bit overdone. to me she looks to computerized. if you want it that way i think its great, but as a close up portrait seems to be to much. she almost looks to "wax" out. i wish i could tell you what to do best, but i can only tell you what i see for i am like you, a learner. see you around compadre :)
