Excellent soft focus view of this glorious flower, this definately enhances the delicate appeal of it. IMO sometimes the large words above take a little away from the scene below, as maybe in this case...maybe you don't agree:-)))....Take care and Regards.

Simple maybe but so beautiful and clean shot... Fantastic light and the softness to this shot is so lovely..... The angle is great and the whole composition works very well.. Great work once again...

I absolutely agree re the letters, but it was going on a card that I sold today....(she ordered 25 assorted ....and I had been rushing to get them done)..my son is 30 years old today........the little extra Cash was going towards his Birthday Supper and present.............so ....hopefully - shortly I will be able to do this without the 'words'.............but I do thank you for your kind comments on the Photo...... I had stayed up for over 24 hours getting my 'orders' done........and then working on "Jesse's' Bday. He will be here tomorrow........!! I have not seen him since Christmas.......and I am long over do to be 'picked up, swung around and give the biggest BEAR HUG I have ever known!!!..............I still have Photos to do for him.......so must run.........have a few I want to post but do not know if I have time......thanks so much Keith!!!!!! sincerely, Gail

Sorry for being so long in getting back to you...I do not know where the weeks go anymore...they seem to fly.....My son Jess is 'totally into Photography'.....a few years back I gave him my Canon G1 (film camera) and wherever he has lived, he's had a 'darkroom' wherever he has lived....and up to a few months ago was still doing film....didn't have a Digital Camera yet.......so I totally surprised him by giving him my previous camrea....(still didn't want to give it up).....but I know what 'stress relief' and enjoyment I get from 'digital'......he was bugging me to 'play' with it, not knowing that it would be his gift. He was just thirilled.....I love him so....seems like yesterday he was my 'little blonde toddler' who used to cuddle with me on the couch and watch TV...after supper..........' Those times go by much too fast....

I love this shot the soft colors are so soothing.

This is just my comment I belive if you cropped more of the stem your eye will stay on the flower.

Thankyou for your kind words Dennis....I may try your 'take'......when I first did this one...I just really loved the colors in the DOF under the flower...but anohter POV is not unthinkable...tnks for the 'idea'....sincerely, Gail
