This is a difficult shot and you hoave the focus nice and sharp on the surfer. When I view this image larger I imediately see that (to me) a tighter crop on the subject would make a stronger more engaging piece. You might take a look at the idea and post it again, right next to this one and see what people think.

I disagree about the tighter crop. You don't want to lose the outline of the wave.
