lesliejbng 0 Posted June 9, 2009 After some constructive criticism I reshot this image trying to offset the Daisy some, remove out of focus branches that are in front in the other image and obtain better DOF. What do you think? Thanks for taking the time! Leslie Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted June 10, 2009 Leslie... Well,.... Technically you may have answered the comments; but, I like the original. Now, this is excellent and can certainly stand on it's own, but the original and it's soft look just captured my attention and pulled me in.... Just $.02 worth :-)... Mike Link to comment
lesliejbng 0 Posted June 10, 2009 I agree completely with you, what drew me to the first image was the softness. It just does not have the same effect when everything is cleared out. I do appreciate you looking at both and then taking time to come back and give your opinion. Your opinion means a great deal to me as huge admirer of your work :)Warme regards, Leslie Link to comment
sonneland 0 Posted June 12, 2009 Leslie, well that makes 3 of us. To me this image has lost its story in the reshoot. It is as Michael said technically sound but the essence of the story has seemed to be lost. I was curious as to what you would do with the advice that was given. It seems you have addressed all of the points brought up, only to realize what you had originally was the better result. That just happens sometimes. All the best.....roger Link to comment
