Thanks to everyone that commented and rated. Gail to answer your question, this is a creek that runs out of the Palouse into the Spokane river. The other more common name is Hangman Creek. Needless to say, it has some history. This was taken just out of Spokane. All my best and thanks again for the support. Jim

This must be the Golden Goose! Great setting. The combination of light and composition is perfect. I guess my only offering is that it appears to be a grad creating a shadow across the hilltop and trees. It is a necessary evil when trying to balance the exposure. If you ever would like to try exposure blending, I am available for recommendations. I usually only need two exposures to balance the values and then blend them manually in Photoshop. It's more work and sometimes doesn't merit the extra time. For this image, it could be worth it though. It's stunning Jim!
