soniam 6 Posted June 19, 2009 Very nice lighting and colours. Even though is seems you had to shoot against your source light, you managed to keep the shadows under control. I would only wish for a greater DOF... Just my suggestion Link to comment
t37traveler 0 Posted June 20, 2009 This looks like a Cattle Egret. They are very shy; I tried like crazy to get close enough a field full of them to get a decent picture when I was in the Bahamas - no luck. I love the simplicity of the background - light uniform color, simple texture that compliments the bird. Well done. Link to comment
jmarcraveau 0 Posted June 21, 2009 Thanks all for your comment. Thanks Sandra for your help for the name. I think you're right. This bird was beside some water buffalo. Luckily it was not too far since I don't have proper lens for this kind of shot. But with the "all around" 18-200 mm I thought it's not to bad... Of course this does not have the ambition to "compete" with the beautiful image of birds that can be admired on this site. Thanks for your time and comment. Regards, Jean-Marc Link to comment
