HDR - High Dynamic Range

I only suggested it because I see the clouds are a bit blown out and as I see you are interested in arcitecture. HDR is wery suitable for the kind of photography you are doing. With HDR technique you can bring out details in highlight and shadow areas.

As for the second issue (functionalist limestone buildings in Tallinn). I can suggest at least 3 buildings that match that criteria, and all of those are within walking distance from the Old Town.

1) Balti Jaam (train station - a bit boring I would say, huge limestone building)

2) Linnahall (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linnahall - some part of it is planned for demolition, but it will stay as it is for at least couple of years)

3) Rahvusraamatukogu (national library, quite impressive building, both from the inside as from the outside http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Library_of_Estonia)

We had one more functionalist limestone building in town centre - called Sakala Keskus, but it was demolished and its a construction site at the moment, some new leisure and conference centre is being built. Part of that building, the fassade is still standing.

I hope that info was useful :)

Thank you very, very much!

We are going to have one art of photography course this weekend and one IT course with image processing this term, so I hope my skills will improve.

I am looking forward to see those buildings!

kind regards

Maria
