jerrymat 4 Posted July 5, 2009 We all like to capture the architectural marvels of our travel and you have done so here, with a good exposure and have captured the tonality of the building nicely. Since you had to tilt the camera to get the picture, however, you automatically get sloping walls. Expensive tilt lenses can correct this to give rectilinear walls, but most of us can't afford those lenses. I discovered, quite by accident, that Photoshop has a way of correcting the walls to make them look vertical again. One chooses Filter - Distortion - Lens correction - vertical correction. When you are done you have a non rectangular image, so you have to crop, as I did in the uploaded image, so it is best to include a little more on each side than you want so to get the best crop after finishing. You will see I had to lose the lamp post on the left. One also needs to adjust the clarity and sharpness. Anyway, I just wanted to pass along this tidbit of information.
