BobSandford 0 Posted June 19, 2009 Being a musician, I'm curious about the title of your "e minor" series. I'm not getting the connection. Link to comment
mozgur 0 Posted June 19, 2009 Bob, I have two parallel collections: EMajor and E Minor. Here Minor and Major refer to light/dark color theme of the compositions. Minors have white or lightcolor dominated compositions.E refers to the aspect ratio. E, similar to pi, is one of the most important mathematical numbers we ever use. BobSandford 0 Posted June 22, 2009 Thanks Mehmet. Very interesting approach. Maybe you would be so kind as to clarify further. I am interested in what may be a cultural difference between us. In the broadest terms, I am used to minor keys evoking "darker" moods and major keys evoking "lighter" ones. Maybe I'm taxing the metaphors of "light" and "dark", but if I'm understanding you correctly, you have this (in visual terms, anyway) reversed. Link to comment
