jerrymat 3 Posted June 6, 2009 Easily reaches the standards of National Geographic. It makes me want to travel again. I see those terraces and have many thoughts: how long have they been there?; why are some with crops and others barren? Does someone live in that roofed structure or does it serve another purpose? Making the viewer ask such questions is the sign of a good travel photo. Regards, Jerry Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted June 7, 2009 Arup, excellent shot of terrace cultivation. This is done in many parts of India and elsewhere on the slopes of hills, where land is scarce for cultivation.Composition, exposure and perspective are admirable. Link to comment
nabs 0 Posted June 8, 2009 Fantastic. Encapsulates all that we have heard and read about what a travel photograph should show. Link to comment
sumon_mukherjee 0 Posted June 8, 2009 This is a nice composition and very good utilization of curvatures as well as different shades of colours. Best regards. Link to comment
asher_lev 0 Posted October 14, 2011 My opinion -you overdid it with the coloring besides some other things. Link to comment
