GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted June 4, 2009 I dont' think it matters where you live, at least in the bigger cities....there will always be those who "slip through the cracks"....these poor souls....although some of them are so used to living this way, would not change anything....but there are those who truly are reaching out for help, and Society just doesn't 'see' them. This shot depicts a very sad 'loneliness' Fabrizio.... his posture seems to tell the story of one who has been 'beaten down'....and for whatever reason....your heart cannot but feel for this man. Your Black and White is truly effective in this shot.....while it is not contrasty.....the tones of black and white seem to 'speak the truth'.....in a very revealing way. congrats Fabrizio on an excellent photo, revealing 'another side' of life on the 'streets'. blue-olympus 0 Posted June 4, 2009 Good documentary scene regarding the "have and have nots"...capturing the car in the background as well as the bike shows one of the comparisons you have aimed for.....your normal excellent p/p work.....Regards Link to comment
bevip 0 Posted June 5, 2009 Drammaticamente bella. Il bianco e nero è stato trattato con maestria. Penso non sia stato facile far emergere il soggetto in questo contesto. Ottimo il lavoro sui neri e sui grigi del signore ed in quello che lo circonda. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 5, 2009 A very moving photo about a man who probably has lost it all and now his whole life is on the bike , the blanket on the bench and the waterbottle on the wall. Excellent documentery and street capture The man looks to have giving up hope and that he would welcome a human touch, a small talk a few coins and maybee a real bed to sleep on. Amazing b/w conversion with super details in the textures and very good tones all over and with perfect contrast and sharpness. Take good care my friend and all the best from Jannica, Link to comment
